So far so good. Very quiet, good storage, and lighting. We'll see in 20 years if I can say the same. This replaced an Amana that was still going strong after 34+ years.

My 20+ year Frigidaire 11 Cu. Ft. finally bit the dust one day and I ran out to find another in stock. I came across the thinner and taller 16 Cu. Ft. Frigidaire (one in stock) and grabbed it. Got it home, let it run over night to cool, and reloaded all my frozen food. Now, I even have more room to store things! Thank you!

This garage ready freezer with the green light on the floor helps to know there is no interruption of power. It has the full length of the door with shelves. The number of shelves and drawer at the bottom allows to easily see your items. This freezer is quiet, we can barely hear it so like seeing the green light. We have the stainless which is very sleek looking. We love it and are happy we chose this model. Ordered it directly from Frigidaire and the delivery was quick and seamless.

I really like this freezer. The door seals really tight. The shelves are different heights that you can change. I placed a thermometer for a freezer in it and it is registering where it is supposed to. There is plenty of room for smaller or larger bags on the door. I am looking forward to it handling the heat I have in my garage in Arizona. It is to handle 0 to 110 degrees.

We purchased this freezer in 2024 but had to dispose of it after we had a power failure while out of town. Now, we're repurchasing it - the exact freezer, because of the quality we feel it has. The size is perfect. It holds a lot, but not so big that you end up freezing and losing it inside. The fact that it is garage-ready is important. It's frost free, has a light to let you know that it's powered, and has a nice stainless look.

We purchased this upright freezer and have it in our laundry room next to the kitchen, so it's in a central air conditioned space, unlike a garage might be. The freezer worked exactly as it was supposed to until this afternoon, when I heard a series of three beeps in succession, coupled by the green light blinking at base of freezer. I hadn't left the door open, so I was perplexed as to why all the fruit, ice cream, butter, bread, etc... was soft and mushy. As fast as I could, I ran up and down to our chest freezer from Walmart, and saved as much food as I could. The rest got tossed. For a product with such high ratings 4.8 out of 5 stars, it's very disturbing that there's a feature to keep food cold for up to 2 days when there is a power outage, but the freezer can suddenly stop working and all your food is at risk without warning/when it's already defrosted. We paid $900 and change, and clearly are part of a group of people who have experienced the EXACT same thing. We have no desire to have a repair person come to tell us it's broken. We have no desire to waste time with customer service after reading the multitude of similar 1 star reviews for the same issue. I just bought a fridge/freezer combo from Frigidaire less than 2 months ago to replace an original 24 year old unit that finally died. Boy oh boy do I hope and pray that one doesn't fail too.....

Nice looking freezer. Works well but it does have some significant temperature swings. I have recorded -4 to 22 degrees F. Mostly it stays around 0 +- 4 degrees. Also, can be a bit overwhelmed if you put in a lot of non-frozen food. But you are warned not to do that in the user manual. Overall, I am happy with this freezer.

so far we really like the new freezer it is replacing the old one which also a Frigidaire and is well over 20 years old. I hope the new one is as good, the only thing don't like is that there is no door lock. The freezer is in the garage and if the door is a gar who could hear the alarm

We have owned a number of Frigidaire appliances and have good luck with them. We now find out that the appliances have little warranty and are pretty much disposable. We bought a 16 cu ft upright freezer in 2023. In August of 2025 it stopped working, no longer keeps the food frozen. We paid over $900 for it and have been quoted a price to repair it for over $1000. The compressor has locked up and needs to be replaced. Frigidaire has a warranty of 1 year, they must not have much faith in their product.
